“I’m sure you’ve heard about it by now, but just in case you’ve been living in a cave for the past decade or so, here’s a brief recap of the Janet Jackson Superbowl controversy:

During the 38th Superbowl game (Superbowl XXXVIII as it is officially known), there was a half-time show featuring singers Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake. Nothing unusual about that, except for the fact that Jackson had quite a revealing moment when Justin grabbed her breast and exposed her nipple to the nation. The reaction was instantaneous and expected. People were simply outraged that the star had the audacity to do such a thing and demanded apologies and fines.

The FCC, which regulates television in the United States fined CBS (who was broadcasting the Super Bowl that year) a whopping $550,000 for the half second glance of Jackson’s “nipular area.” The Wardrobe Malfunction, as it came to be known also caused a tremendous amount of chatter on talk radio about the direction of the nation and ultimately, the FCC decided to raise the fines significantly for indecent exposure on public television broadcasts,

I’ve got to say though that I really don’t understand all the fuss. We’re talking about a half second mistake. Or at least, that’s what they say it was. So some people got a tiny glimpse. Yes, it happens. I mean my goodness, has anyone walked around a junior high school in America lately? The way some kids dress there, you’d think that they were about to perform the next halftime show.

Larry Flynt, of Hustler once posed the question: why is it that we have no problem with showing murder in all it’s gratuity, allowing plenty of blood and guts to be shown on television, showing children, even at a young age, people being shot on the front pages of newspapers and in the news, but if we see a breast, we go crazy?

Well, whatever the case may be, whatever people think of the whole Janet Jackson Superbowl incident, the reality is that the Superbowl this year and in years to come will likely be much more tightly controlled and will not be allowed to show off any kind of questionable content. It’s good news for the moral majority, but personally I think it was all blown out of proportion.”

Janet Jackson is echoing what many of her family members have said: Dr. Conrad Murray should be held accountable for brother Michael’s death. With the exception of Jack Kevorkian and a few whack jobs, I haven’t really heard anyone say otherwise. It’s shocking to think that a doctor acted with such reckless irresponsibility as Murray did. Janet thinks that Murray shouldn’t be practicing medicine (if nothing else).

“He was the one who was administering,” the Control singer said. “I think he should be responsible.”
Janet said of this past June 25 — the day Michael Jackson died — that she was at her New York home, when an assistant watching CNN informed her that her brother had been hospitalized. She said she then dialed a series of relatives, including mother Katherine, brother Tito, nephew Austin and sister LaToya to confirm the news. “I told them to call me back when they got to the hospital. And I remember thinking, nobody’s calling me back, so I tried calling again and that’s how I found out he was no longer… I couldn’t believe it.
“It just didn’t ring true to me,” she said. “It felt like a dream… its still difficult for me to believe. Its, you know, you have to accept what it is.” She said of Michael that “a day doesn’t go by that I don’t think about him.”
Though he has not been charged, Murray has been in the spotlight since Jackson’s June 25 death, which has been ruled a homicide by authorities. Much of the ensuing controversy has been centered around Propofol, a strong anesthetic Jackson was taking. Murray, through his attorney, has said he didn’t give the Thriller singer anything that “should have” killed him.

What ridiculousness. Murray didn’t give Michael anything that “should have” killed him? Except that it’s easy to fatally overdose on Propofol, which is why it’s illegal to administer it outside a hospital setting.

LaToya Jackson has been Murray’s most vocal adversary. And while she generally comes across as being totally nutburgers, it’s good someone is saying what everyone else is thinking. It seemed likely that Murray would face manslaughter charges in Jackson’s death, however it’s been several months since the coroner ruled Jackson’s death a homicide, and not much has happened. Hopefully that’s because they’re being exhaustive in their investigation of Murray, and not because he’s going to get off the hook. The guy should lose a lot more than his license to practice medicine – he should lose his freedom.

So how did she ended up losing all that fat and turned into a babe (almost!)

Legs: Twice a week

And 5 days of cardio.

The cardio includes kickboxing, basketball, tennis, baseball, jumping rope and running.

Now how did this routine do such wonders?

The primary reason is that there was a good amount of rest involved leading to substantial lean muscle mass growth as the weights used were mostly bodyweight or lightweight.

Another thing to do noted was that the method of the workout was largely compound, compound workouts end up increasing functional strength and avoid bulk because compound workouts use more muscles and the range of motion involved is comparatively much more complicated.

Her Training in other note was not circuit entirely and not isolating any bodypart either, circuit training does lead to fat loss *entire body circuit training that is* but rarely ends up reinforcing lean muscle mass and if the weights are heavier than 50% of max capacity, ends up constantly breaking down muscle.

Her training was not fixed on muscle groups but something like Monday: Legs, Tuesday: Upper Body, Wednesday: Abs.

This leads to sufficient rest and the best part of her workout was the type of cardio.

As I have always suggested, cardio has to be really changing, if you want to get effects rather than simply taking your calories in minus, if you want a fat burning effect, you can simply keep your cardio very versatile

Now how does such a diverse cardio section help?

For starters it is impossible to get bored with such a set of routines, You are practically doing something entirely different in mechanics every day.

When the mechanics and muscles used/range of motion used changes so rapidly, the body has no time to adapt to it and keeps burning a lot of fat.

Janet Jackson has released her most recent album entitled Velvet Rope.

This one grabs your attention right from the very beginning with Velvet Rope and doesn’t let go until the very last note of the very last song Special, which is another great track by the way.

Janet Jackson is one of those musicians that has the ability to just win you over with her talent. The kind of artist it’s really a treat to be able to listen to.

This is a first rate CD, delivering a little something for everyone. I give it two thumbs up. It’s quite simply great listening. A must buy for the Rock fan.

While this entire album is outstanding some of my favorites are track 6 – My Need, track 17 – Tonight’s The Night, and track Velvet Rope – Special

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 2 – Velvet Rope. Wow!
