LOL, I love Beckham but it was a red card, get over it.

The challenge wasn’t as bad as the yanks have made it out to be or the player, outside of canada/usa that would have been a straight yellow card not a red.But maybe you yanks haven’t learnt that part of the game which our refs have, which is yellow card and a red card instead of the red system!

I’m American myself and I have to say, those commentators are dumb as fuck. I’ll give them props for agreeing with a red card though but their reason isn’t quite there. Beckham could have snapped that guy’s leg; it’s a simple badly timed tackle.

jeez american commentators have NO idea what they are talking about! He got a red card because he didnt get to the ball not because it was “aggresive”

  6. gerbzs says:

ok U.S. Soccer agreed with the referee’s decision, cleats up (in the air), at an opponents leg = RED CARD

at almost every home game for chelsea or milan it is a sell out crowed already, what is beckham going to do to make more people watch? he playes a slow tempoed game, its not like hes the next ronaldinho or something, hes a slow runner, a bad dribbler, hes only good at dead ball situations and milan has many experts on dead ball already ( ronaldinho, pirlo, seedorf, ambrosini) hes not going to do anything there, his best bet is to retire after the world cup, hes a very overrated player
